Actually, Grails project do fit in Maven infrastructures
In fact, although Grails diverges from Maven's own conventions, Grails project do fit in Maven project infrastructures if you need it. There's a lovely and handy Maven Grails Plugin which does exactly that. So he needs to eventually get with the program and figure out how help guys like me make Grails fit into a standard Maven build.
